Product Overview:
Galvanized Wire Netting, commonly known as chicken wire or hexagonal wire mesh, is a versatile mesh structure woven from high-quality low-carbon steel wire. The characteristic hexagonal openings are formed by twisting adjacent wires, creating a flexible yet durable barrier. The post-weaving or pre-weaving galvanization process provides exceptional resistance to atmospheric corrosion and oxidation.
Manufacturing & Technology:
Twisting Technique: Utilizing advanced "Reverse Twist" or "Straight Twist" technology to ensure the mesh remains symmetrical and flat, preventing internal tension that causes curling.
Galvanization Process: * Hot-Dipped Galvanized (HDG): Thick zinc coating ($200-300\text{g/m}^2$) for superior longevity in outdoor/coastal environments.
Electro-Galvanized: Smoother finish for indoor or temporary light-duty applications.
Structural Integrity: The double or triple-twisted joints prevent the mesh from unravelling if a single wire is accidentally severed.
Technical Parameters:
Wire Diameter: 0.5{mm} - 2.0{mm}.
Mesh Size: 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1.5", 2" (13{mm} - 50{mm}).
Roll Dimensions: Widths from 0.5{m} to 2.0{m}; standard length 30{m} or50{m}.
