Detailed information

Product Overview:

The U-Post, often referred to as a "U-Channel Post," is a versatile, lightweight fencing support manufactured from high-strength steel. Its U-shaped cross-section provides significant structural rigidity while allowing for easy attachment of wire mesh, plastic netting, or garden fencing. It is the ideal choice for temporary fencing, residential garden boundaries, and light-duty agricultural enclosures where cost-efficiency and ease of installation are priorities.

Manufacturing & Technology:

  • Cold-Forming Process: Produced via Precision Cold-Rolling, where flat steel strips are continuously formed into the "U" channel profile. This process increases the yield strength of the steel, ensuring the post resists bending even under light lateral loads.

  • Punching Technology: Features pre-punched holes along the entire length of the channel. These holes are CNC-punched to ensure precise alignment, allowing for quick, uniform attachment of fencing fabrics using standard clips or wire ties.

  • Surface Protection:

    • Hot-Dipped Galvanization: Applied to ensure the steel is fully encased in zinc, providing robust cathodic protection against oxidation, especially in high-moisture soil.

    • Green/Black Powder Coating: An aesthetic finish that blends into garden environments while providing an additional layer of weather resistance.

  • Base Engineering: The bottom of the post features a stabilizing spade (anchor plate). This anchor is spot-welded to the base, providing resistance against soil heave and ensuring the post remains upright in loose ground.

Technical Parameters:

  • Material: Low Carbon Steel (Q195/Q235).

  • Thickness: 1.0mm - 3.0mm (Gauge dependent).

  • Width:30mm- 60mm.

  • Height: 0.9m - 2.1m.

  • Finish: Galvanized or Powder Coated.
