Product Overview:

Expanded Metal Mesh is a high-rigidity, single-piece architectural mesh created through a simultaneous punching and expanding process. Unlike welded mesh, expanded metal has no joints or welds, resulting in a monolithic structure that offers superior load-bearing capacity and weight-to-strength ratios. It is the premier choice for heavy-duty industrial walkways, safety guards, architectural facades, and filtration components.

Manufacturing & Technology:

  • Structural Engineering: Manufactured using Precision Die-Cutting & Expansion Technology. The raw sheet metal is cold-slit and simultaneously stretched. This process creates a diamond-shaped or hexagonal truss pattern without material waste, ensuring the structural integrity of the base metal is fully preserved.

  • Dimensional Precision: The mesh is engineered with Controlled Strand Thickness and Bond Angles. This allows for precise "open area" percentages, essential for airflow, light diffusion, or visibility requirements in architectural design.

  • Surface Engineering: The mesh can be processed with an Anti-Corrosion Finish, including Hot-Dipped Galvanization, Anodizing (for Aluminum), or Electrostatic Powder Coating, providing extreme durability against harsh industrial environments and UV exposure.

  • Rigidity Management: The "raised" or "flattened" profile of the strands acts as an integral stiffener, allowing the mesh to span significant distances between supports without sagging.
