The Professional Chipboard Screw is a high-performance fastening solution engineered for the assembly of particle board, MDF, and various composite wood materials. Designed with a deep, sharp thread profile and specialized point, these screws maximize pull-out resistance and minimize splitting in low-density wood substrates, making them the industry standard for flat-pack furniture assembly and interior cabinetry.

Manufacturing & Technology:

• Structural Engineering: Manufactured from Case-Hardened Carbon Steel (C1022) to provide the ideal balance between surface hardness and core ductility. The Recessed Phillips or Pozi Drive is precision-stamped to ensure high-torque transmission and prevent driver bit slip during automated assembly.

• Thread Geometry: Featuring High-Low Threads or a Deep Single-Lead Thread, the design is engineered to cut cleanly into the composite fibers of the chipboard. The sharp thread profile minimizes torque requirement while providing superior "bite" into the porous substrate.

• Tip & Shank Technology: The Cut-Point (Type 17) or Sharp Point allows for immediate engagement, eliminating the need for pilot holes. The shank includes a "Shank Rib" design (near the head), which reams the hole in the fixture material, ensuring a flush finish without damaging the veneer.

• Surface Engineering: Treated with High-Performance Zinc Plating or Yellow Zinc (Zincate), providing aesthetic uniformity and essential protection against moisture-induced swelling of the chipboard.
