This high-performance Fiberglass Mesh is a versatile reinforcement fabric engineered for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS), wall crack prevention, and architectural surface stabilization. Composed of high-quality glass fiber yarns coated with an alkali-resistant polymer, it delivers exceptional tensile strength, dimensional stability, and long-term chemical durability in demanding construction environments.
Manufacturing & Technology:
Structural Engineering: Fabricated using premium E-glass fiber yarns woven into a precise grid pattern. This substrate is then impregnated with an Advanced Alkali-Resistant (AR) Latex Coating. This specialized coating acts as a chemical shield, protecting the glass fibers from the high-alkalinity environment typical of fresh cement mortar and concrete.
Weaving Precision: The mesh utilizes a Leno Weave structure combined with a heat-set finishing process. This manufacturing technique ensures that the intersections of the vertical (warp) and horizontal (weft) yarns are firmly locked, preventing mesh deformation, slipping, or "laddering" during application and installation.
Physical Performance: Engineered for high elasticity and structural load-bearing, the mesh effectively distributes thermal expansion stresses across building facades. It absorbs stress from wall movement, significantly reducing the formation of hairline cracks in plaster, stucco, and render finishes, thus extending the facade’s lifespan.
Environmental Stability: The AR-coating maintains its structural integrity across extreme temperature gradients and high-moisture conditions. It prevents the caustic nature of cement from degrading the fiber, ensuring the fabric does not lose its tensile properties even after years of embedment in mortar.
