Product Overview:
The Professional Hexagonal Wire Netting, commonly known as chicken wire, is a lightweight, flexible mesh solution engineered for diverse applications ranging from poultry containment and garden fencing to architectural reinforcement and thermal insulation support. Its unique "twist" geometry provides a high strength-to-weight ratio and exceptional malleability, allowing it to conform easily to complex contours and structural shapes.
Manufacturing & Technology:
Structural Engineering: Fabricated from High-Quality Low-Carbon Steel Wire (or Galvanized Wire). The netting is manufactured using the "Double-Twist" Weaving Technology. In this process, the wires are twisted together in opposite directions to form a series of hexagonal apertures. This mechanical interlocking design ensures that even if a single wire is cut, the mesh will not "run" or unravel, maintaining its structural integrity.
Surface Engineering: To ensure long-term performance in varied environments, the netting undergoes specialized finishing:
Hot-Dipped Galvanization (After/Before Weaving): A heavy zinc coating provides robust cathodic protection against rust in outdoor/damp conditions.
PVC/PE Coating: A polymer layer offers a color-matched finish and an additional chemical barrier against salt spray, soil acidity, and UV degradation.
Operational Precision: The flexible hexagonal geometry allows the mesh to absorb kinetic energy and expand/contract without buckling, making it the industry standard for stabilizing lightweight materials like rock wool in boiler lagging or as a backing for plaster in interior wall construction.
